Devine Lie transports you to a place of beauty and wonder through song and rhythm.
In the On Top Of The World album, Devine Lie expresses a new version of itself, with strong vocals, clear and precise instrumentals and perfect mastering. The album embodies a sense of euphoria and reminisces of the past, whilst also placing the beauty of the current in retrospect.

Shafts of light
Peak through the darkened sky
Marking the path
You have to try
Your path disappears
As night encroaches
Losing its way
As dark approaches
Hold me now
Let the rain
Cleanse our souls
Remove the pain
Ignore all those
Who rule by fear
Show them now
We all shed mortal tears
Grab the light
While it’s here
No disgrace
In mortal tears
Feel the sun
On your face
Revel in its
Warm embrace
Why believe
What they preach
They just repeat
What others teach
Cut their skin
It’s mortal blood
Make them cry
They shed Mortal Tears
Hold me now
Let the rain
Cleanse our souls
Remove the pain
Why do you think
They know a way
Not open to you
Just because they pray
Believe in yourself
The secret’s inside
The power is yours
Your power’s your guide
Grab the light
While it’s here
Fearing only
What you hear
Feel the sun
On your face
Revel in its
Warm embrace
What’s to say
There’s anything else
Why not act
On your first impulse
Why believe
What others say
Make the choice
Of your own pathway
